It is said several dialectect/accents exist in the U.S. Midland, Southern, Western, Northern, Midwest, etc... or even by state.
There are different opinions about where you can find the american english that is considered a standard english, one that maybe does not have any accent or at least considered the proper american english.
Name a few current TV series that you think represent the standard american english.
Most every major TV show made in the US on one of the big television networks uses a standard American English accent. Unless they are making fun of a character on the show or the show is specifically set in an area with an accent, they will use standard pronuncian. This is because they want the television shows to appeal to as many people as possible.
So take your pick: 30 Rock, The Office, Community, The Mentalist, Pysch, etc. Really any TV show would work.
It would be harder to find a TV show that *isn't* using a standard accent.
