Tap Into The Affiliate Effect!

Just like the snow ball effect, where a snow ball rolling down a hill increases in size with every turn, the affiliate effect, when used correctly has the same out come! (No not a big ball of snow, a big ball of cash!)

If you are relatively new to the internet marketing game then this may help give you a little bit of an idea of how and why there seems to be so much information and directions you can go with affiliate marketing and why confusion and frustration usually occurs.

Affiliate marketing has so many different levels to it and most people end up getting lost and frustrated, usually make little or no money from it and give up before they really get started.

The affiliate effect occurs when you build an online business starting with free article marketing strategies all the way through the ten steps below.

No one says you have to go any further than selling affiliate products using free article marketing strategies. (Some affiliates are making a nice little income subsidy just by doing this first step), but to see things develop exponentially you will have to move past go!

The other steps usually occur depending on how much time you have to dedicate to your online business and usually how much help you can find to lead you in the right direction and not get you lost, confused or frustrated by dumping too much information on you at the start or rushing through!

I would recommend not progressing to the next step until you have made at least enough money from the previous step, if done correctly most of these steps are very inexpensive (less than the cost of a carton a beer a month!) but it is better to get a feel for the first few steps as these are the crux of your new business.

Each step increases your exposure and opportunity to make sales therefore snow balling to increased profits.

Step 1. Find one affiliate program or product and start doing free article marketing

Step 2. Start a blog review and talk about your product, educate people on the benefits, directing traffic to your affiliate link.

Step 3. Join the Wealthy affiliate University to get access to all the tools, resources, help and support you need from some of the most successful marketers in the business

Step 4. Purchase domain names and redirect those names to your affiliate sight via your link.

Step 5. Continue to write articles and blogs directing traffic to you domain names.

Step 6. Social bookmark and submit all articles blogs and domains to increase traffic.

Step 7. Purchase another domain or use one of your old ones to build a website promoting all of the above.

Step 8. Set up your website to accept email opt in, so you can collect peoples email addresses, interested in what you are promoting.

Step 9. Start emailing your new list telling them about other products relevant to the one they enquired about.

Step 10. Continue to build traffic with articles and blogs, find a new niche or affiliate program and repeat steps 1 to 10.

I had a vague idea about how to go about 9 out of these ten 10 steps, but it was step 3 that really was the GLUE! I wish I had taken that step a lot earlier.

Either way if you can work your way through these areas on your own you should soon start to see the affiliate effect kick in and profits to snow ball!

If Microsoft hits Windows 7 out of the ball park how will effect MSFT stock?

The reviewers of Engadget gave the beta version of MS Windows 7 a good rating. Do you think the Stock of MSFT is headed for a big pay off?

Stocks are really long-term things. I don't know that I'd expect them to have any huge short-term spike, but it might be a good sign for them over the long haul.

Computer sales are generally down right now, and that means sales would be down of the operating system coming on them. Microsoft is generally putting an OS on most new systems regardless of it being Vista or Windows 7, so I don't know that there would be an enormous change in income there, though it might get them some renewed contracts.

Beyond that, you're likely to have some people looking into upgrading, but given Windows 7 is really just an incremental change to Vista, you could have many sticking with SP2 on it if they already have it. A lot depends on how pricey Microsoft decides to make Windows 7. If they charge an arm and a leg, many people might not bother. If they keep it under $100 for an upgrade, it could be popular.

The main positive with Windows 7 is that many businesses would be likely to skip over Vista and move to Windows 7 when it's time for an upgrade themselves. Many like to wait until after something has been out a good while, however, and for most business purposes, I'm not sure that Windows 7 is really adding any must-have new features that most places don't already get via things like XP if they have it. I believe there's also a potential problem in that, last I read, it's not possible to upgrade directly from XP to Windows 7. Vista would have to occur as an intermediary step if it's attempted, or else businesses would simply do it when it's time for them to get entirely new machines anyway.

Anyway, I'd think the stock to be more likely positively affected by a good new OS, especially over the longer-term, and primarily due to what it represents. I don't think I'd expect a huge short-term spike or "big pay off" however.

The OS seems to be testing well and it seems like they have their act together, but it's not something utterly revolutionary compared to Vista or that would totally shock the average consumer. Of course, we have yet to see how they incorporate other things they've been up to (Live, MSN Direct, etc.) into Windows 7 before it's released, too.

But no, I would not expect "a big pay off" -- if one occurs, it would be artificial, and generated by people who just want to buy because it's "trendy" in the moment, not because a spike is justified.
