Punk has a decent fanbase. He's nowhere near hugely over, but that can be attributed to the fact that he wasn't able to do much as champion, especially since he rarely got on the mic or develop much at all. He has solid mic skills, although as I said, he hasn't really had a lot of time on the mic, from watching promos from other promotions, he's pretty good.
