I am looking for suggestions on motherboard for a computer I am buliding. I want something that is athlon 64 compatible, that has sli and takes ata hard drive. I also like to take at least 4 gigs of memory. I was thinkin about the Asus m2n deluxe. The computer is mainly for gaming. I am using my wife account to ask this question. Thanks for the answers!
Do you want an AMD processor or an Intel one? That is the main question, but if I were in your shoes I would get a Core 2 Duo, which is an Intel processor. They are really good in every application and are dual core with available 64bit instruction set. This ASUs board is a good one, because it has what you want, ATA connections for the hard drive, and it can support up to 8GB of RAM. Good luck on your build, and remember if you run SLI to get a beefy PSU to run the cards.
