What's a good floor mic for a church cantor?
I'm thinking of something inconspicuous with a gooseneck, something designed for a singer.
Gooseneck mics are normally mounted to a podium or table. If the cantor is standing behind a table or podium, a normal "surface mount" gooseneck mic will work fine. If the cator is not standing behind anything, you will need a mic that goes on a mic stand or maybe one of those very expensive mics that the "Three Tenors" use that is like a mic and stand built into one unit They are very slim.
