Car Audio Tweeter is a very good way to improve your sound system. Although subwoofers and good loud speakers as well as a good amplifier can definitely help boost your sound system, you might be missing out on a very important factor and that is, the tweeter. Tweeters are an essential component to help optimize your sound system because it is dedicated to reproducing and improving the high notes. To improve your overall listening experience, you will need to have the high pitched tones covered and this device covers the upper range of the human hearing in contrast to the lower sound range covered by subwoofers.

Car audio tweeters are actually small speakers that are made up of very light materials. Unlike the huge loud speakers and subwoofers, its makeup is specifically designed for a faster vibration from shorter wavelengths. Their sizes range from 1 inch to about 6 inches in diameter. They operate at the sound range of 2,000 Hertz to 20,000 Hertz. They are basically an electrodynamic driver with a voice coil suspended in an electromagnetic field. The primary job of this device is to transform an electric signal into a mechanical air movement seamlessly without any distortions.

There are about three basic types of tweeters, namely, the dome, the cone and the horn. The dome tweeter is composed of much lighter materials and is noticeably smaller. Its construction is made up of a voice coil connected to a dome made of fabric materials or light metals. Hard dome versions are either made up of aluminum or titanium as well as many other light metals while soft dome versions are made up of polyethylene fabric or silk products. The three desired aspects of this version are its low mass, good damping and high stiffness.

The cone version are actually a modified type of speakers, they are more closely related to the other types of speakers so to say. As what its name implies, this is conically shaped and is made up of much harder materials like ceramic and it has a shorter voice coil to respond better to fast vibrations. It is utilized for its stiffness because of its material composition and an added layer of fabric can also be incorporated for dampness.

Lastly, the horn type is just a simple modification between the two other types. It can be a cone or a dome type attached to a horn structure. This structure is specifically designed to improve the performance of the device. The horn first of all, improves the dispersion of sound and secondly allows the coupling of the tweeter diaphragm to the air for higher efficiency. Other types of tweeters are Piezo, Ribbon, Planar-Magnetic, Electrostatic, AMT, and lastly Ion or plasma.

These devices are very fragile and they can be easily damaged.  The dome type can easily be bent and misshapen from the slightest bumps and even from minor mishandling. The constant removal and replacement of the device causes the most damage. On the other hand the soft types can easily tear apart. In buying these devices, make sure that you are going for quality instead of price. The higher the quality the better its performance and the more durable it is.

should i buy mac mini or ASRrock NET TOP ION 330?

I am confusing of buying ASRrock mini pc or mac mini.The price is more different and the processor.The harddisk of ASRrock is more than mac mini.I'm also a pc and mac user.

Its purely a choice question. MAC is always good to have but if you are looking for a laptop to use only for web, chat, movies i would suggest get a netbook or PC. Below is the link for reivews between PC and MAC.
