We posted a review of the Studio headphones back when they were first released and found that they were more than just a way to capitalize on Dr. Dre's name. Joel Evans tested them and was really impressed with the sound quality, so the BoSox edition should be more than just a way to support your favorite team.

That's an extremely bold claim especially considering the headphones sell for $399.99. He is either underestimating the impact of the iPod or overestimating how much people appreciate high-end audio. Regardless, active noise isolating headphones don't come cheap, plus the Beats pack a battery-powered digital amplifier and then you have to pay a premium for the Red Sox colors and logos. You end up with a headset that some small segment of the market is going to love but other people will be perplexed by.

Closed Designed earcups, Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio completely enclose your ears to lock out ambient noise. Moreover, Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio has added the Noise Reduction function. Only put two 7# (AAA) batteries into the left earcup and the headphone works. Alternatively, there's the power switch on the right earcup and mute button too . It is user-friendly!
Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio supports Folding function. After Folding, though not very small, the headphone could be put into the bonus Rugged Touring Case, which ensures Beats and accessories safe during transport. However, we think that Beats by Dr. Dre Studio is poor in portability - usually when people go out, they would not carry such a bag big enough to hold the Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio and its Rugged Touring Case.

Our test results show that, however, this is not quite applicable in Monster headphones. The overall performance of Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio is much better than Monster SOLO HD. Specifically, Beats by Dr. Dre Studio performances pretty good in low frequency, as well as bass strength and flexibility. Of course, it also performances relatively good in high frequency, at least a class above the SOLO HD. This is our approval of its performance of sound quality. And certainly Beats by Dr. Dre Studio has some little defectiveness too, for example, thickness and low noise during central frequency would take off points from the whole listening process. But we say as a product based solely on fashion, it isn't worth quibbling over such little weakness. In noise reduction effect matters, Beats by Dr. Dre Studio does not mark the specific noise reduction value, and we cannot say its noise reduction rating. However, we classify Beats by Dr. Dre Studio noise reduction level to above average.

Should I Buy Fake Beats By Dre Studio? Or Bose Around Ear Headphones?
Hey, I wanna buy some new headphones but for the beats by dre i dont have 300 dollars to spend. So, i was thinking of buying the fake ones and people have been saying that there isnt really that much of a difference. And that the sound quality is just a little worse. For Mark, Nope i have never bought anything form them but it seems like i can trust them. It has a verisign and McAfee thing so it seems safe. Also, you can use paypal so if i dont get my unit then i can get my money back. And last it comes with a 3 month warranty
I wouldn't buy either. Even real Beats aren't very good. And Bose are vastly over-rated.
