What are the ways to certify with VCP-410 examinations?
Exam VCP-410 is one of the VMware's certification examinations and the name of this exam is VCP 4 (VMware certified professionals on vSphere 4). This certification will suit best to the candidates who wish to ensure about the integrity as well as value of the VCP certifications. Recently, Pearson VUE has added this exam and hence candidates have to register in Pearson VUE center or in website for registration.
What are the ways to certify with VCP 4?
There are 4 possible ways to certify with this VCP 4 certification and they are as follows.
1) If a candidate is new for attending VMware certification, then the candidates should attend the course named VMware vSphere- installation, managing and configuration or the VMware vSphere- fast track or VMware vSphere: troubleshooting. After certifying with any one of these course, take the VCP 4 test.
2) If a candidate is currently holding VCP 3, then the candidate has to attend a two days instructor- led course called VMware vSphere- what's new. This course is mandatory for an upgrade. After this instructor- led class, candidate can take this VCP 4 test.
3) If a candidate is currently holding VCP 2, then the candidate should attend any one course (VMware vSphere- installation, managing and configuration or VMware vSphere: troubleshooting). After this prerequisite, candidate can take VCP 4 exam
4) If a candidate is not a VCP 3 but holding any one of the prerequisites (VI3- fast track, VI3- installation and configuration, VI3- deploy, secure and analyze), then the candidate should attend a two days instructor- led course called VMware vSphere- what's new. After this prerequisite/ upgrade, candidate can take up the VCP 4 exam.
