Computer processor upgrade?
Hi, I recently bought a used Toshiba M45 S165, I plan to use it for recording music when I'm away from the house via USB audio interface, the Lexicon Lambda, the problem is that the Lambda uses about 70% of my processor at one time, so i figure I need a better processor, it has the
Mobile Intel® Celeron® Processor 1.50 GHz, 256K Cache, 400 MHz FSB, in it now, what are the upgrades for this?
Laptops can be hard to upgrade. I looked around and you need a processor that uses socket pga370 and it seems that you have the top end processor for that socket.
If your not running anything else at the same time as that Lambda then you should be just fine. If you were maxed out on your processor then it would be time to get better hardware.
