They have several of there collection that have become very popular with designers and architects. One of these is the pamplona collection that has very ornate metal work and a beautiful Palacial Bronze finish with Gilded Accents. One of my favorite parts of this collection is the edges of these light fixtures come with a braided rope look that just adds volumes to the look. To top off the look of the chandeliers in this collection they have added Hand Embroidered Shades & Decorative Finials to top off the elegant look of this collection. This is just one example of why Livex lighting is becoming one of the most ask for names in lighting.
I am very excited to offer livex lighting in our showroom and can not wait to see what they come up with in the future.

(Physics History) Huygens, Young, Maxwell, and... Aether?
Ok, you know how Huygens and Young were wave guys and they showed that light was a wave. At the time they needed a medium for the wave to travel in, so they made this bizarre medium Aether up to explain their stuff.
Well, later Maxwell comes along with his E&M wave stuffs and says E&M require NO medium.
What happened to the Aether? Where was the hop from Aether to no Aether and who is credited for this?
I know Aether specifically was the medium for light, but it was only there because we assumed we needed a medium. Maxwell's clam that E&M required no medium seems a bit large of a jump. I'm mainly wondering what steps happened for this jump to occur.
Bonus Question: do I care too much about history? lol.
Related to R&S because of the debate over Intelegent Electricity and Intelegent Magnetism.
The aether or ether was never there. As you say, normally wave motion needs some kind of medium, but as ever in science, it is unwise to assume things as Huygens and Young did.
What Maxwell did was to work out his four famous equations of electromagnetic wave motion, and it turned out that not only did they work extremely well to describe electromagnetic waves (and still do - I was taught them at university) they just didn't fit with the idea of an aether.
Of course somebody just had to test this out. Michelson and Morley put together a very delicate experiment designed to detect if there is any aether that light travels through. The Michelson-Morley experiment proved that there is no aether - the results made no sense if there is one.
