What's a good software program that can do high quality piano and strings for my korg 601p midi controller?
I just realized that my midi controller (one specified above) can run music software on it...I would just get the native akoustik piano, but i really don't want to miss on synth strings which to me are my favorite sound.
You might want to check out Garritan Personal Orchestra. It has pretty much any string sound you'll need (as well as brass and woodwind) and also includes a decent sounding piano. It doesn't offer as many piano choices as Akoustik does, though.
