How to create A night time garden
There has been, in recent years an increase in the popularity of gardens that are at their optimum in the evenings. These so called "moon gardens" are the perfect place to unwind in at the end of the day or provide the most magical party surroundings. They are quite simple to plan and many existing gardens only require a few alterations, here are the five important parts of a moon garden.
Planting.
There are several so called "moonflowers" widely available, such as the Reina de la Noche which is a night-blooming cactus, it only blooms for a couple of nights a year, but is certainly worth the wait. Other moonflowers are Jasmin, with it's white flowers that reflect the moonlight beautifully as well as producing a beautiful scent. The Mirabilis Jalapa or the Four o'clock flower is a plant that blooms later in the day, producing a beautiful scent as is the Angles Trumpet. Plants can also be used to create a comforting noise for your moon garden, bamboos as well as grasses rustling in the wind will create the perfect background for your moon garden.
Water Feature
A water feature can also add to the background music of your moon garden as well as proving a focal point to the garden. A t trickling fountain or a simple pond both bring a unique and magical feel to a moon garden. Water also offers the possibility of playing with the reflections. A pond for example can be used to reflect the plants surrounding it while bubbling pebble pools, jets and fountains can be coupled with strategic lighting which can have a stunning effect.
Lighting can also be used to illuminate other features in your garden, helping to turn it in to a night time oasis. Up-lighting tress in your garden gives a mysterious effect to a moon garden, while also acting as a safety feature by illuminating steps or other potential dangerous areas. Different kinds of light can also be used to highlight different areas or sections of your moon garden.
Sections
While lighting can be used to highlight differing sections of your garden something more stable will be need to define these sections. Either trellis covered with a night-blooming plant that can reflect both the natural and artificial light. An up-lighted hedge gives a great divisional affect as well as an aesthetically pleasing one too.
Furniture
Now that you have put in all this effort in to your moon garden, you are going to need somewhere cosy and relaxing to enjoy it from. Invest in some quality furniture and place it in the optimum position for enjoying the best your moon garden has to offer. Why not also invest in an outside dining set, your dinner guests will be wowed by the stunning surroundings of your enchanting moon garden.

Can American DJ lights be mounted to a wall?
Hi. I just ordered an ADJ Moonflower like light from eBay and I was wondering if any experienced djs out there knew if dj lights can be mounted on a wall or roof. It will stay in that room and it won't be moved alot, um just kinds making a party room and I don't want to spend money on a truss system.
You can mount a moonflower any way you choose. Just make sure that your bracket is secure and you aren't blocking cooling fans or vents.
