what's the best way to study music?
ok well im going to be as specific as possible about my question. i want to know the best way to study music because its a very important hobby of mine and i enjoy it a lot. i found a few good places to learn music theory but i feel like i am missing more. i sing a little bit but i want to know more about music such as octaves and scales and arpeggios and song writing, everything and anything(sorry if there is a lot of info). i do plan to become a musician as i have formed a small band, so i want to excel at it. also like vocal types (also im planning to learn bass guitar)
so overall, how i should learn music? any sites or videos would be greatly appreciated. oh and if there are any suggestions as to music school or classes i cant=/ i already attend college (art institute for graphic design) so i can barely afford to take classes
