In the beginning strobe lighting was done with halogen lights since that was the main light source available for all illumination purposes. Later, halogen was replaced by LED, thereby widening color choices and the intensity of the colors used for strobe flashing. How do you get people to dance at a party?
I am having a dance party at home including disco lights and strobe lights. All the lights will be off except for the disco lights and the strobe lights...so I wont be as embarrasing for people to dance..but still is there is still that what if no one dances.The music is not a problem because I got really danceable upbeat music. what are some ways to get people to dance?
Invite a good ratio of outgoing people that aren't too shy.
Then, when the music starts be the first on the floor to kick it off; trust me others will follow.
If you are worried about someone in particular; try inviting a crush of theirs to encourage them.
If you are still having a hard time then encourage group dancing for a bit, like a conga line; or instruction dancing (ie: cha cha slide etc.)
