Why won't the Addictive Drums demo show up in Mixcraft 5?
I know how to install VST effects,(I have one installed called Glitch) and I just downloaded the Addictive drums demo from their website. I put the addictivedrums.dll into the vst folder, and in the vst folder found in the acoustica mixcraft folder, also, in mixcraft i went to preferences and added a folder to search for vst effects, but it wont show up under fx, or virtual instruments-> VSTi instruments.
What am I doing wrong?
It still won't work! 
If it helps at all, I do have Mixcraft 5.2 152, and im using Vista 32-bit
Make sure you've got Mixcraft 5.2 build 152 or higher: http://acoustica.com/mixcraft/download.htm
If that doesn't help, check the VSTignore.ini file in your Mixcraft folder. If Mixcraft has trouble loading a plugin, it will add it to that file. Edit VSTignore.ini with notepad and remove the Addictive Drums line, save the file, and then see if it loads.
